Educational Technology, Inc. works with small and large organizations to identify their training needs and address them. Ken Saltz, the company founder, has more than two decades of experience conducting needs analyses, and designing, developing, and evaluating eLearning, blended, and classroom instruction for diverse industries and subject matter areas. For larger, team-based projects, Ken works through the full-service training development company he co-founded, WorkingKnowledge, Inc.

Needs Analysis.

I'll help you understand your learners' attitudes and skills/knowledge gaps before you invest in any new instructional initiatives.

Curriculum Design.

Informed by the Needs Analysis, I'll work with you to design a curriculum and choose a delivery modality that best addresses your learners' needs.

Course Development.

Using the Curriculum Design as the roadmap, I'll develop effective courseware that has measureable results for your learners.

Evaluation.

I can perform formative and summative evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training intervention and identify areas for further refinement.

  • ACA Course

    Affordable Care Act Training

    This Captivate-based course was developed for ConnectiCare to provide staff with an overview of changes to their business with the rollout of the ACA. It includes a number of engaging activities, full narration, original graphics and music.

  • ishtar alley

    Sales Skills Training

    This course was developed for Intuit Payroll Services and was part of the curriculum supporting a new sales initiative. The course is published in HTML5 and includes branching scenarios, full narration, 3D animations, and original music.

  • APTA Outcome Measures

    Neurology Outcome Measures

    This course was developed for members of the American Physical Therapy Association who specialize in the treatment of neurologic disorders. Learners analyze a variety of data, including photos and video, to form a long-term treatment plan for a stroke patient.

  • About Ken

    Ken is an instructional designer with a Master’s degree in Educational Technology and more than two decades of experience working with small and large organizations to identify their training needs and address them.

    Along with his experience analyzing, designing, and developing courseware, Ken has extensive background in: business process documentation and optimization, human performance technology (HPT), Learning Management System (LMS) selection and deployment, SCORM conformance, and 508/ADA conformance for Web-based content delivery.

    When he's not working with his dog by his side, Ken spends his time with his wife and two kids exploring the splendors of Colorado or playing guitar.
